IF THE COTTER PIN IS MISSING, THE LOCK NUT COULD LOOSEN DURING VEHICLE OPERATION. THIS COULD LEAD TO A SEPARATION OF THE BRAKE DRUM/REAR WHEEL ASSEMBLY FROM THE AXLE SHAFT.</description>
